Hey guys, i rectally learned about legion and how dust is dead...im really sad to see this go, i been a closed beta member back in replication build
Now i wan to ask you all about when you first started playing, your experience and your hopes and your ambition
I am Foley Jones, i been playing for about 2 years now
I got into the beta from PlayStation home, they a litte event going on were if you beat this slay min game before i think the first hundred people? then you get a beta code
i was like around the 10th according to the leaderbaord for the mini game. i wanted that beta code because i was hyped for dust I finally got it after hundreds of try at slay, i mastered it, now i can beat it any time whenever i gotten so good at it
i instantly went and redeemed the code and anxiously downloaded it, i couldn't wait, and i was not disappointed, the replication build drew me in, it was so fresh and unique that i wanted more and more of the game, so i stuck around
Then i met new people, people im still friends with to this day, tis why i love the community, because of the friendships that can be forged Then we made the transfer to the TQ server, were i first heard about eve, i was blown away at the capability on how we could be on the same server amongst two different gaming platforms, i was even drew in moooooore to dust, so i stayed
then i got into the role playing community, This is were i met my eve friends, i role played because i was a nerd plus it was kinda fun, so i made friends with theses eve players
I then later in time started fighting in PC battles, the heat, the intense combat, the epic leadership in those battles were breathtaking for any game, i felt comradely with the people by my side, i felt as if we were a actual team
something a game never gave me, so i stuck around
Those eve players i talked about from before? the role players? well i later got a computer, i never had one so i played dust so i can hang out with them, but never really play with them, and so on, but when i got a computer, i got eve and i was greeted with free stuff, a few paid subscriptions and someone whom i look up to as my mentor
Dust introduced em to eve, and im sure it did for many im glad i start playing eve so i can hang out with them more, im having a amazing time
But mainly the story about dust for me is, that it gave me a fresh experience to the FPS market, it gave me a community that i was proud to be apart of, one were i actually wanted to go on the forums, something i will never forget about
This is why i love DUST, This was my story
MY SP BRINGS ALL THE MERCS TO THE CHANNEL AND THEY ARE LIKE "Do you wanna squad up?" DAMN RIGHT I WANNA SQUAD UP
